Why I am writing separately about this one episode is because it shows Sabrina, a witch in learning, getting a job as a Magician’s assistant.
Just so you know before we start, I like the magician, Joel better than Harvey.
Initially, Sabrina gives all her attention to Harvey who seem to be distracted by Libby.
In order to create Harvey’s interest, her aunt advises her to get a job or a hobby. As a result, Sabrina find’s an opening for a magician’s assistant and get the part.
The whole practicing magic looks really funny and I wonder in the start if Sabrina will do some real magic during the show.
Nearing the mid of the episode; Joel, the magician, scores some points with Mr. Pool, the biology teacher (by doing magic on his tie), and gets his first gig in the cafeteria.
The whole thing surely is keeping Sabrina busy and a little away from Harvey but our magician seem to be interested in her. (Oh! how dearly I want them to date, no matter for how short time it might be for.)
The cafeteria act is hilarious when the act starts going wrong and as I anticipated, Sabrina uses her magic to make thing right for Joel and he becomes invisible in the process.
The part where he messes with the biology teacher is funny. Sabrina ties to make things right be trying to spray some visibility powder on the invisible magician, only he is hell bent on staying that way as well as making Sabrina notice his affection.
Ok!!! I still like the magician but not his behavior.
Now a teenage invisible boy is bound to go to the girl’s locker room. Smart Sabrina saves them.
The rest of the episode goes on with Joel always being present around Sabrina and causing trouble for Harvey. Finally caught and made visible, he is not too happy about it but the rest are.
Though I am happy that Sabrina gets her wish when Harvey asks her out (even though he is not my favorite character
The aunt Zelda and her colleague, Ethan angle is also pretty romantic. I ended but with a burst of laughter when he exploded about his feelings. But the change in friend is a little puzzling
Note: I like the Salem teasing pranks and biology teacher trouble Joel causes being invisible.
