It must have been a real favorite among the teens and kids, when a junior high students gets initiated as a CIA agent.
Favorite English topic, CIA, coming among the adolescent class of society was sure to become a hit.
We see our little hero displaying some cool skills as he rescues a child from a moving locked car. We soon come to realize that these skills were gained from a summer camp organized by the CIA.
As a scientist in grasps of some very bad men, throws a party for his daughter’s birthday, Cody is tasked with getting himself invited there.
He has to do that by getting close to the daughter of the scientist. He thus transfers to her school, taking all the classes. Though he is utterly poor with girls and gets mocked for it, his handler is super hot lady in a suit.
We see humorous situations as the two take driving tests, engage in awkward conversations and the girl, Hillary Duff (Natalie in the movie) gets saved by Cody.
Somehow he manages to get himself invited but only to be awkwardly interrupted by his handler. Its a real comic situation.
As the party commences, the Cody takes up the task of being and Agent and gathers information on the plans the villains. He is removed from the task for getting emotionally involved with the subject, Natalie.
Even then, he goes on to rescue the girl. Together with his handler, they manage to rescue the father and daughter, in the process bringing down the whole evil lair and capturing & killing the evil men.
Not to forget, he does get the girl in the end.
The movie is action and comedy filled with bursts of display of cool gadgets. Our little agent’s family and handler are something altogether.
The movies seems like a teenage version of spy kids. Not my favorite, but really enjoyable!!!
