The now president ensures to the woman that he is tirelessly working to get accountability for Moo Yul (her husband) meanwhile Lee’s adoptive father scolds him for not killing Kyung Wan. He threatens to take care of the matter himself.
His mother runs a food stall where Na Na arrives with Da Hye and Bodyguard Shin. Lee leaves feeling sad for his mother and unable to bear watching her condition.
Later, in a bad mood, Lee calls upon Na Na to drive him around. She runs into Prosecutor Kim on her way and they interact shortly. Lee gets jealous and leaves. Na Na scolds him of his rude behavior and both realize that they have something in common, both do not have a mom presently.
Later, Lee confides in his cook Ahjushi that he doesn’t want to be a killer so that he can lead a better life after everything is over. The drama never ceases to surprise us with laughter at the most unexpected moments. Prosecutor Kim and Lee have short silly stand-off over a ladies purse. Its hilarious!!!
Later we see that Lee Jin Pyo, the revenge seeking man, seek help from a former cop (brother of one of his colleague who died in the mission), Kim San Gook to aid in his mission. The next step for the adoptive father and son is to find out the next target.
While that happens, Kim Na Na goes through a horrible phase and her house gets sold by the authorities. Though Lee feels helpless (they also get into a useless fight) and unable to help him, he returns and by chance help someone else.
On his way, the road is blocked by cars. The veteran’s shop is in a ruckus as a man is blaming and shouting on the lady doctor. Lee goes in and helps her out by calling the police. The sheer chance that Prosecutor Kim’s ex-wife, Jin Soo Hee, the veteran, and Lee crossed paths and became friends made me like the drama series even more. It feels like the universe is trying to aid Lee’s revenge in some way.
One of the presidential candidates, Seo Yong Hak, seeks’ the presidents help in protection. Thus, Na Na and Shin get re-assigned to him as Jin Pyo and Lee zero in on the possibility of him being one of the man. He is also one of the four corrupt people involved in the incident.
Both men decide to interrogate Kyung Wan to get the name of others. While Lee couldn’t Jin Pyo does get one name, Yong Hak’s. He thus, goes on to target Yong Hak while he is dining with his family.
Meanwhile, Lee tries to make up with Na Na and feels jealous again as he couldn’t gift her his purse (as she has already received one from her Ahjushi Long Legs). He also stumbles upon the location of the dinner through Na Na and later uses it to try and stop his father from killing the man.
In the very end Lee cuts off the light to the dinner as Jin Pyo has the man, Seo Yong Hak, on gun point from the opposite building. Unable to see, Jin Pyo still takes the shot and the blindly shot bullet barely misses Na Na (as Lee saves her in the dark).
The humor in the series always comes unexpected and healthy. Also the revenge is getting interesting by each episode. But this particular one made me curious as to how important is Jin Soo Hee’s role in this series.
