This is a Special clip/Episode/Short Movie
This short movie is set, in the time period, after the very first Dragon Rider movie by the name ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ (the first part).
The Day is of ‘Snoggletog’, a special holiday in Winter. The day starts out just perfectly in harmony, fun and holiday decorations before all the dragons decide to take off and Berk vikings feel agitated and confused. Since, toothless can’t leave without Hiccup, the young rider makes him an automated fin to fly. With it, he flies away. On the other hand, Fishlegs keeps his dragon in chains to avoid his disappearence too. But Meetlug, Fighleg’s Bronkol Dragon escapes with Hiccup on him.
One side, the riders discover Bronkol Eggs in Fishleg’s shed (which they decide to hide in everyone’s shed as a cheer up for missing dragons) and on the other side, Hiccup discovers the same thing on a secluded island (BTW, the island is beautiful, there are somethings you can only experience when you watch). They eventually discover that the hatching happens by explosion: translation- bad news for every home that has been gifted the egg by the young riders.
If you are used to watching the mature Astrid, this one will make you laugh + her yaknogg!
From the other side, the hatching island, I call it, Hiccup leaves for Berk with all the Dragons but their young hatchlings are unable to fly. Thus, they carry every hatchling on a broken ship back to Berk. Now that everything is back to normal and everyone is happy and thanking Hiccup, there is still one problem. There was bo toothless on the hatching island and has been gone for quite some time. As it turns out, he had been gone to find Hiccup’s fallen helmet: hence, a gift for the festival of Snoggletog, a gift of Night Fury!
The icing on the cake: he refuses the automated tail fin and wants to work with Hiccup’s old sassle and attached tail fin!
I recommend that you watch this short movie, before you start with Dragon: Riders of Berk and Dragons: Race to the Edge. That is the sequence!
